I'm a tad "green" myself; and living in a city with a decent bus system certainly helped! Now MiLady drives -- but we hardly ever go anywhere. So it balances out. 8-) I'm beginning to understand the socks thing; my toes and calves get colder faster these days. I've been able to get away with leg warmers most days, so far. I started typing comments into your FF stream as I read each item but had to keep deleting the comments because I'd then read another item and realise that what I'd previously writ wasn't appropriate. So if you see weird things appear as comments in your FF stream that then disappear that's why. About the driving: I'm with you 100%. None of my mother, brother nor me ever learnt to drive. We see road vehicles as big dangerous moving metal tombs. And none of us would have been safe at the wheel. Oh, and we're a bit eco-green too.
